The Haverford Reserve Dog Park is unique to our area as it is the only completely fenced in park that is free of charge and 90% maintained by volunteers, dog owners, Park users and through donations from supporters.

The Park features:

  • Separate areas for both large and small dogs,

  • Naturally shaded areas,

  • Picnic tables and other seating, and

  • A covered pavilion to escape the elements.

About the HRDP

Develop and maintain a self-sustaining, fenced-in, off-leash dog park where well-behaved canine citizens can run freely and socialize in a clean, safe environment without endangering people, property or local wildlife. To develop a beautiful and well-maintained space open to dog lovers and friends who are willing to uphold the park's rules and regulations. To promote education, training and recreational activities that facilitate responsible dog ownership. Operate and govern the park as a community project with volunteers under the guidance of Haverford Township to satisfy the needs of dog owners and potential dog owners.

Mission Statement

The Board of Directors meets on the first Thursday of each month. Community members are always welcome.  Keep an eye on the HRDP Facebook page, ask a Board member or send us a message for times and locations.
